California's 36th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of California based in Los Angeles County. The district covers most of the coastal communities of Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Torrance, El Segundo, Venice, Wilmington, and San Pedro in Greater Los Angeles.

The district is represented by Democrat Janice Hahn, who won a special election to fill the remainder of Democrat Jane Harman's term after Harman resigned. Hahn has represented the district since July 19, 2011.
